What lolcat themes were you touching on, here? I see:
- spelling variation for sounds spoken but not usu. represented (the epenthetic vowel in "tolog")
- spelling variation for letters written but not pronounced ("breahnú")

You are missing candy...
That's almost all. Maith thú a Mháire! Good analysis. Those are the them there that I was going for.
I also went for "mises" for a kind of plural "mise". The s there might be explained by a borrowing from the standard English plural, or a shortening of "agus" to form a kind of dangling plural.
Did you do "a breahnú" on purpose? A lot of us learners don't have 100% control over mutations, which I think is one thing that Ms. mhwombat suggesteded.
I did meanted to do that on porpoises. I wanted to make some sort of mutated spelling there, but wasn't sure which element to remove, and that one seemed the most logical - keeping the word recognizable.
I go back and forth on the spelling issue -- it would be SO easy just to spell from the point of view of a learner of Irish, Gaeilge with English orthography. But other times I think that it would be preferable to come from an "internal" angle....
